Literature-to-supply workflow

Source compounds referenced in patents and synthesis literature

A literature mention does not by itself prove that the cited CAS, name, and structure identify the same purchasable compound. Use this workflow to verify the target first, then move from identity to current price, stock, documentation, and delivery.

Search by CAS, name, or formulaSubmit a compound list

Four-step check

From a patent reference to a supplier-ready request

  1. Step 1

    Capture the cited identity

Record the CAS number, chemical name, structure, patent or publication link, and the example or step where the compound appears. A patent example number alone is not a chemical identifier.

  2. Step 2

    Verify CAS against structure

Check that the cited CAS, name, molecular formula, stereochemistry, salt form, and structure describe the same target. Similar names and related intermediates should not be treated as interchangeable.

  3. Step 3

    Check commercial supply

Search MolGraph by CAS, name, or formula. Priced records show the available package, purity, public price, in-stock status, and an estimated 5–9 business day delivery window.

  4. Step 4

    Send a decision-ready RFQ

Include the exact target, pack size, purity, destination, required analytical documents, and requested delivery date. MolGraph confirms the final lot, COA/SDS availability, shipment fit, and timing with the quotation.

Commercial confirmation

What MolGraph can confirm

  • CAS-specific identity and the molecular information shown on the product page.
  • Public package price, purity, and in-stock status where a governed price exists.
  • Estimated 5–9 business day delivery for priced stock, subject to destination and final quotation.
  • Lot documentation, COA/SDS availability, shipping fit, and final lead time during RFQ review.

Scope boundary

What a catalog page does not establish

  • It does not validate a patent's legal status, claims, freedom to operate, or experimental conclusions.
  • It does not guarantee that a literature procedure will reproduce in a different laboratory.
  • It does not make related compounds, stereoisomers, salts, or intermediates substitutes for the requested target.
  • It does not replace buyer review of specifications, hazards, intended use, and jurisdictional requirements.
